Description

This iconic lantern, which first appeared in Paris in the 19th century, is associated with the Île Saint Louis, bathed by the Seine River and named in honor of King Louis IX, known as Saint-Louis.
Designed to illuminate the streets and highlight the architectural details of the stone buildings, these lanterns were instrumental in the atmosphere that characterizes this island located in the heart of Paris.
